Where are my photos and entries stored?
Your journal and photos are saved on your device first. In My space → Storage & backup, you can export a backup file or enable personal iCloud Drive or Google Drive backup on supported devices. Originals aren't uploaded to Firebase. Check your backups before deleting the app, clearing its data, or changing devices. Videos and PDFs aren't restorable journal backups.
Can I edit or recover an entry?
Open your book and tap ··· beside the page number to edit an entry or move it to Recently deleted. Restore it from My space → Storage & backup → Recently deleted. Entries stay there until you restore or permanently delete them. Older backups may still contain permanently deleted entries.
How do I restore on a new device?
Choose a cloud backup or a .befoly file in My space → Storage & backup. iPhone and Android use the same backup format. Restoring replaces the current book; a safety copy is saved on your device first. Check the restored book before turning automatic backup back on. Backups support up to 100 MB of photos in total. Live sync between devices isn't available.
How do I change my book's design?
Preview covers and page layouts in Our book → Design your book. Saving a premium style or page setting opens the Premium page. Closing it keeps your draft in the editor.
How do purchasing and restoration work?
Premium is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. Check the final price in the store payment sheet before buying. If purchasing is unavailable, check your store sign-in and network connection. After reinstalling, use Restore Purchases on the Premium page with the same store account. This restores Premium access, not journal entries or photos; keep a separate journal backup.
How do I share a video or PDF?
Go to Our book → Save & share. The basic 10-second video is free; the 30-second video and PDF options lead to the Premium page. You choose the destination in the iOS save or share sheet.
How do I turn analytics off?
Go to My space → Usage analytics → Turn off analytics. Your choice doesn't affect basic features. Journal entries, photos, baby's nickname, due date, moods, and movement records aren't included in analytics events.

Contact our support email above. The team can't access or recover records stored only on your device. Please don't send unnecessary private information or passwords.
